Too Many Fish in the Sea—a combination of blue, turquoise, green, and purple..

2 skeins available; larger dye lots are available on request.

A beautiful start to your next handmade project, this yarn needs only your imagination to turn into something wonderful!

  • 100% Sustainable Merino wool yarn
  • 436 yards/400 meters
  • 4-ply fingering weight
  • spun from sustainably-produced, cruelty-free Australian Merino wool
  • hand-dyed with professional-grade acid dyes

This soft, silky yarn is spun from Merino you can feel good about: ethically- and sustainably-produced Australian Merino certified by NewMerino®. NewMerino® sources its wool from flocks whose shepherds do not use mulesing to control flystrike and who are committed to managing the environment for regeneration and sustainability of grasslands. You get all the softness of Merino, and none of the worry!

Sustainable Merino Fingering is a smooth, 4-ply, worsted-spun yarn, perfect for projects requiring next-to-skin softness and a durable yarn with a bit of drape.

In this colorway, “Too Many Fish in the Sea” I plunged right into my very favorite section of the color wheel. This yarn is named for a 1964 song by the Marvellettes. I think it would be the perfect pick-me-up in the winter when you are longing for the beach.

I use only professional grade acid dyes that are light-fast and wash-fast, and I strive to run my dye studio in an environmentally-sensitive way.
